On this month’s Crimecall, we went on patrol with Garda Mark Murphy and the Limerick Roads Policing Unit to demonstrate how the Mobility device identifies uninsured vehicles and disqualified drivers, amongst other things.When fully rolled out, it will give Gardaí real time information on the go, with access to vehicle and driver information plus the ability to automatically issue fixed charge notices.This use of mobile technology will revolutionise policing on our roads and in our communities.
