Assault Causing Harm Investigation - Alfred Street, Cork

The Gardaí at Anglesea street station are investigating an Assault Causing Harm incident on 19 August 2025 at 11.45 pm (approx.). The suspect approached the victim and struck him with a glass bottle in the face and then kicked and punched him while he was on the ground.

Victim’s Injuries

The victim received injures which included a 3-4cm cut above left eye, a burst lip, heavy facial bleeding, and a fractured nose.

Suspect’s Description

• Male
• 5’9”
• Thin build.

Clothing

• Navy jacket
• White and grey trim
• Green T shirt
• Black or dark bottoms and runners
• Distinctive Baseball cap that appears to have an unusual pattern. It has a black and either yellow or beige design possibly a Burberry pattern.
