Missing person Investigation – Eva brennan

Missing_person_Investigation___Eva_brennan

The Gardaí at Terenure are investigating the disappearance of Eva Brennan from Terenure Dublin 6. On Sunday 25th July 1993, Eva went to the family home in Rathdown, Terenure for Sunday dinner. At approximately 2.30pm, Eva left the family home, which was the last time her family saw her.

The belief of the investigating Gardaí was that Eva then travelled back to her apartment at Rathgar Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6. On Monday 26th July 1993, Eva’s family tried to contact her by phone as she did not appear for her regular daily visit, but there was no answer.

On the Wednesday, family members forced entry into Eva’s apartment. Her raincoat from the Sunday was inside the apartment, suggesting she had returned there. Eva’s family subsequently reported her missing to Gardaí who began a missing persons investigation.

During an extensive investigation, there have been several reported sightings and numerous lines of enquiry pursued over the years, but none has established what happened to Eva. The investigation remains open, and Gardaí continue to seek information that could help establish her whereabouts or what happened following her disappearance.
