Gardaí seize stolen plant machinery

Following an operation carried out yesterday (Friday 10/12/10) by members of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NBCI) Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit, assisted by local Gardaí from Laytown, Co Meath stolen plant machinery with an estimated value of €1,000,000 has been recovered.

 

 A search was carried out at lands and warehouses near Balbriggan Co Dublin at approximately 8pm (10/12/10)and during the course of this search fifteen plant machinery units were discovered including Tractors, Excavators and Telehandlles (Mini telescopic crane)

 

It is believed that some of the recovered machinery was stolen in England in 2010.

 

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
