A court appearance has been announced in relation to the fatal stabbing in Lucan on the 2nd December
The 25 year old man being detained in Lucan Garda Station in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 33 year old male (see previous release below) is due to appear in Court 44 (Chancery Street) at 10.30am this morning 4th December 2010, to be charged in connection with the incident.

Gardai in Lucan are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 33 year old male at a residence in the Cannonbrook Estate, Lucan, Co. Dublin this evening the 2nd of December 2010.
A 25 year old male was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Lucan Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination. The office of the State Pathologist has been notified. The body remains at scene.
