Appeal - Fatal stabbing in Swords, Dublin on the 12/12/10 - Also in Polish

Gardaí at Swords, Dublin investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing of a male in his late 20’s wish to appeal to members of the public for their assistance.

Gardai are keen to speak to anyone that was socialising in The Wright Venue, Airside Retail Park, Swords on the night of the 11th into the early hours of the 12th of December 2010 and who may be able to assist with this investigation.  

Gardai are also keen to speak to the drivers of two Taxis that left the Airside Retail Park for the Richmond Road with Polish passengers between 3am and 3.30am on the 12th. The passengers were dropped between the Richmond Road and Leydens Cash and Carry. In addition any one who was in the vicinity of the Richmond Road who may have witnessed taxies dropping off around this time are also asked to contact Gardai.
 

Gardai would also like to speak to the person or persons who left the deceased at the Rotunda Hospital at approximately 3.45am on the 12th.


As part of this investigation Gardai are examining a number of scenes including apartments on the Richmond Road and a car. The post mortem has been completed and the results supplied to the investigation team. The deceased family has been contacted in Poland.
