National Domestic Abuse Unit (NDAU)

The National Domestic Abuse Unit has organisational responsibility for the development, implementation and delivery of training for Garda policy, engagement with statutory and non-statutory agencies, creation and implementation of training in relation to the Garda Domestic Abuse Risk Evaluation Tool, monitoring of incidents nationally, high-risk victim and offender management, presentations – internal and external, and provides support, guidance and advice in respect of domestic abuse related matters.
