Gardai have seized property and cash following a planned operation this morning, the 25/11/10, targeting organised crime in the North Mayo Area.
Early this morning up to 70 gardai comprising of members from the Criminal Assets Bureau, the Regional Support Unit, Divisional Search Team and Scene of Crime Office supported by local detective and uniformed gardai carried out a number of searches on residences in the greater Ballina area.
During the course of the searches gardai seized a substantial amount cash in Euro and Sterling. They also seized 2 high value vehicles and documents. No arrests were made.
