My heartfelt sympathy on the saddest life event to happen to Kevin as he went about his job making all our lives safe and protected. It's beyond comprehension and no words of mine could possibly be adequate. My late dad was also a member of an Garda Shiochana and times were different during his tenure however as a child I often worried about his safety but never thought anything when he was on checkpoint duty. How different our world is today. I'm saddened for your enormous loss & will include you all in my thoughts and prayers. Those we have loved never die They are all around us albeit very different. Xxx
