Serious assault in Clondalkin, Dublin on the 11/9/11 - Witness Appeal

Gardai in Clondalkin wish to seek the publics assistance in relation to a serious assault that occurred on the 11th September 2011 at approximately 3.30am on Monastery Walk, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

A 19 year old woman sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault. She was taken to Tallaght Hospital where she received treatment. 
 

The assailant is described as being male, in his 20’s, between 5’6’’ and 6’ tall of athletic build with short hair. It is believed that he received injuries to his face during the assault. 
 

Gardai are anxious to speak to a man seen in the area around the time who may be able to assist with the investigation. He is described as being in his mid 20’s and believed to be wearing a blue Italian Rugby/Soccer top. 
 

Gardai also wish to appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area of Monastery Road / Monastery Walk  between approximately 3.15am and 3.45am and who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious or anyone who can assist with the investigation to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01 – 6667600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
