Fatal road traffic collision at Slip, Bantry, Cork on the 25/1/11

Gardaí at Bantry are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Slip, Bantry at approximately 4.30pm this afternoon, Tuesday, the 25 January 2011.

A 38 year old female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene after she was struck by a truck.

This collision happened near the local creamery and the Co-Action Centre.

Gardaí are asking any witnesses that were in this area who have information to offer to contact them at Bantry on 027 20860.
