Investigation into a double shooting on the Finglas Road, Dublin on the 23/11/10 - Witness appeal

Gardaí at Finglas investigating the double murder of two males at the Tesco Petrol Station, Clearwater Shopping Centre on the 23/11/10 wish to appeal for the publics assistance.

They are keen to speak to anyone that was at the Tesco Petrol station between 11pm on the 23/11/10 and 11.45pm when the shooting occurred.  In particular anyone that may have noticed a Toyota Avensis car registration number 05 D 86211 and a 06 D registration saloon type car, possibly a BMW, in or around the forecourt or general area before or after the incident. The investigation team are keen to trace the movements and locate this 06 D saloon car.
 

In addition Gardaí are keen to speak with anyone who may have information that may assist the Gardaí with their investigation to contact the incident room at Finglas Garda Station on 01- 6667532, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

 
The post mortem is scheduled to be conducted this afternoon by the Deputy State Pathologist Doctor Michael Curtis. There are 60 Gardai from the DMR West and North Central Divisions along with officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation involved in this investigation.

Gardai in Finglas are investigation a shooting on the forecourt of at a petrol station on the Finglas Road at approximately 11.40pm on the 23/11/10 in which two males in their early 20’s were shot. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The scene is currently sealed off for technical examination.


The office of the State Pathologist have been contacted and the Garda Technical Bureau are expected at the scene this morning.
