Fatal shooting in Ardee, Louth on the 29/10/10 - Releases

Gardai have released all three males being detained in relation to a fatal shooting and an aggravated burglary which occurred in the Sliabh Breagh Estate on the 29th of October.

They were released without charge this evening (03/11/10) and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There is currently no one in custody.

A further arrest was made in relation to this investigation in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, the 3rd November 2010.

The arrest was of a 30 year old man and it was made in the Ardee area of Louth.

This man is being detained at Drogheda Garda Station under Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act.

The 26 year old man who was arrested yesterday has been released pending further investigation.

Therefore, 3 people remain in custody in total.

Gardai in Ardee investigating a fatal shooting and an aggravated burglary which occurred in the Sliabh Breagh Estate on 29th October 2010 have arrested one male. He is 26 years old, and was arrested in the Dublin area at 9.30am this morning, the 2nd November 2010.

He is being held in Drogheda Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. The 2 men arrested on the 1st Nov  are still in custody

Gardai in Ardee investigating a fatal shooting and an aggravated burglary which occurred in the Sliabh Breagh Estate on 29th October 2010 have arrested two males.

A 21 and 55 year old male were arrested in Dundalk this afternoon (1/11/10).  They are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice 2007 at Dundalk Garda Station.

The man was arrested in the <_st13a_city _w3a_st="on"><_st13a_place _w3a_st="on">Dublin area at approximately 5.30pm this evening (30th October) on suspicion of aggravated burglary at a house in the Sliabh Breagh Estate in Ardee on 29th October 2010.<_o3a_p>

He is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Dundalk Garda Station.<_o3a_p>
