Fatal shooting in Ardee, Louth on the 29/10/10 - Further arrests

Gardai in Ardee investigating a fatal shooting and an aggravated burglary which occurred in the Sliabh Breagh Estate on 29th October 2010 have arrested two males.

A 21 and 55 year old male were arrested in Dundalk this afternoon (1/11/10).  They are currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice 2007 at Dundalk Garda Station.

The man being detained at Dundalk Garda Station on suspicion of aggravated burglary at a house in the Sliabh Breagh Estate in Ardee on 29th October 2010 has been released without charge.

The man being detained at Dundalk Garda Station on suspicion of aggravated burglary at a house in the Sliabh Breagh Estate in Ardee on 29th October 2010 (see previous release below) has been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man was arrested in the <_st13a_city _w3a_st="on"><_st13a_place _w3a_st="on">Dublin area at approximately 5.30pm this evening (30th October) on suspicion of aggravated burglary at a house in the Sliabh Breagh Estate in Ardee on 29th October 2010.<_o3a_p>

He is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Dundalk Garda Station.<_o3a_p>
