There are Park and Ride facilities at University College, Dublin, Stillorgan Road which can be accessed via the N11 and at Muckross College, Marlborough Road, Donnybrook. This is the easiest way of getting to the Dublin Horse Show. There will be buses leaving the Park and Ride areas every 15 minutes from 7.00am until 9.30pm daily and you will be dropped at the front door of the RDS on Merrion Road. Tickets for these Park and Ride facilities can be purchased in advance of the Show at www.dublinhorseshow.com.

There is a full RDS access guide available to download from the above website.

Drivers should be aware that illegally or improperly parked vehicles have the potential to cause traffic disruption, obstruction and difficulty to emergency vehicles that may need to access the narrow residential streets that surround the RDS.

Patrons are advised to travel to RDS on the M50 motorway and the N11 from the South and the Dublin Port Tunnel and East Link Bridge from the North. These routes lead directly to the Ballsbridge area. Patrons arriving via the M50 / M11 / M1 motorways are advised to allow time for traffic delays. Dublin Port Tunnel will be open to all vehicles.

Residents:

Patrons are requested to be aware that the RDS is located in a residential area. Patrons attending at the RDS are requested to respect residents by behaving in an appropriate manner when going to and departing the venue. Issues such as illegal parking, anti social behaviour, drinking and urinating in public cause difficulties and will not be tolerated by Gardai. Patrons are asked to desist from such behaviour.

Special Needs Parking:

There are a number of disabled parking spaces in the RDS car park on the Merrion Road but these are very limited.

Bus/Coach Parking:

There are no specific bus or coach parking areas around the RDS. Coaches must not be parked in a manner which could lead to disruption.
