Limerick vs Clare Munster Senior Hurling Championships, T.U.S. Gaelic Grounds, Limerick City, 25th May 2025

Large crowds are expected to attend the Munster Senior Hurling Championship game at 4pm on Sunday, 25th of May 2025 at the T.U.S. Gaelic Grounds on the Ennis Road in Limerick City.

Attendees are advised to arrive in plenty of time before the match begins. Those who are driving are strongly encouraged to consider parking in the nearby city centre car parks and walk out to the stadium.

The following road closures will be in place from 1pm on Sunday:

  • Ennis Road, from Union Cross to Caherdavin (Ivan’s) Cross (Traffic will be diverted to Northern Ring Road and towards Clonmacken Road)
  • The junction between Salesian’s School and North Circular Road junction
  • Shelbourne Road / North Circular Road at Clanmaurice Avenue
  • Union Cross (Traffic will be diverted to Shelbourne Road)
  • Shelbourne Park / Shelbourne Road
  • Shelbourne Road / Mayorstone Drive
  • Cratloe Road at its junction with Mayorstone Avenue
  • Cratloe Road at its junction with Mayorstone Upper
  • Cratloe Road at its junction with Mayorstone Upper & T.U.S Roundabout (Merval Park)
  • Ennis Road / Derravarragh Road.

We would like all patrons travelling to the game to have a safe trip, and have a few words of advice for those travelling to the match:

  • Don’t leave any valuables in your vehicle and if you must, keep them out of view
  • Large crowds will be present at the match, so parents are advised to exercise caution and be aware of their child’s whereabouts at all time.
