Witness Appeal - Fatal drowning at Grand Canal, Portobello, Dublin 8 on the 18/6/16

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a drowning incident at Grand Canal, Portobello, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Saturday 18th June 2016.

The deceased is described as early twenties, 5’8” in height, black hair and wearing a black and blue shirt. He got into difficulty while swimming in the Grand Canal at approximately 4.25am.
