Male charged - Three arrested following cash in transit robbery In Raheny, Dublin on the 28/4/14

Gardaí investigating the robbery of a cash in transit delivery van at Raheny Village which occurred on Monday, the 28th April 2014 have charged one male (24yrs).

He will appear in Court No 2, Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street before 5pm this evening, the 29th April 2014.


The two other remain in  custody in Clontarf.

Gardaí have arrested three males, early 30's, following the robbery of a cash in transit delivery at Raheny Village which occurred this afternoon, Monday 28th April 2014 at approximately 4.45pm.

Three males approached and threatened security staff who were making a delivery at a shopping centre in Raheny Village. They fled the scene with one cash box which was later recovered by Gardaí.

The three males were arrested in the Coolock area a short time after the incident and are detained at Clontarf Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

 
There were no reported injuries during the incident.
