Discovery of an unconscious male on Lorcan Avenue, Santry, Dublin on the 30/4/14

Gardai in Santry are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of an unconscious male with serious injuries on the footpath at Lorcan Avenue, Santry on the 30th April 2014.

The male was discovered at approximately 5.40am and has been taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is in a serious condition.  The area has been sealed off for a technical examination.

Gardai have not identified this male who they believe is aged between 25 and 35yrs, stocky build, very tight hair,approx 5'8" to 5'11" he was wearing light brown boots, green/kaki roundneck T-shirt  he also had a watch with luminious green straps.  
There have been no arrests at this stage.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who may recognise the injured male form the description above to contact them in Santry, they are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed an incident or who may have been in the Lorcan Avenue area between 5am and 5.40am this morning the 30th April 2014 to contact them on 01 6664000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
