Gardai in Roxboro Road Garda Station investigating the murder of Ger McMahon on Lenihan Avenue on 18th January 2012 have arrested a male (44yrs) today the 28th January 2012 in relation to this murder.
He is being is detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Roxboro Road Garda station.

Gardai in Roxboro Road Garda Station investigating the murder of Ger McMahon on Lenihan Avenue on 18th January, 2012 have arrested three persons in relation to this murder.
All three were arrested this morning 23rd January, 2012 in the Mungret area of Limerick. One male (30s), a female in her 40s and a female juvenile are all detained under the provisions of Section 30, Offences Again The State Act, 1939. They are being held at Henry Street, Mayorstone and Roxboro Road Garda Station.

Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Limerick on the 18th January 2012.
At approximately 0035 hours a 43 year old male was found with serious injuries at Lenihan Ave. He was taken by ambulance to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is preserved pending a technical examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
