Russell Avenue Abduction - Appeal

Gardaí at Store Street investigating the abduction of 29 year old Ciaran Noonan from Russell Avenue on Thursday, 20th October 2011 are in the process of conducting a number of searches in relation to the investigation.

On Monday, 31st October 2011 lands were searched in the Ashbourne area of Meath.  Today they are searching an area of land from Dunboyne to Trim (on Old Trim Road). 
 

Further searches are planned for the Meath and North County Dublin areas. 
 

Land owners and people using or crossing lands in these specified areas are asked to contact Gardaí at Store Street on 01 6668000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station if they came across anything unusual or suspicious in the last 2 weeks. 
 

Similarly if they notice anything they feel may relate to the investigation they are asked to contact the same numbers.

Gardai in Store St, are investigating the report of an assault and kidnapping of a male on Russell Ave, East Wall, Dublin 1  on the 20th of October 2011.  

The incident occurred at approx 4.45pm on the 20th Oct 2011 on Russell Ave, it is alleged that the male was bundled into a dark coloured VW Golf, which left the scene.  

Gardai in Store St are very concerned for this male and are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a dark coloured  VW Golf acting suspiciously on or in the vicinity of  Russell Ave around 4.45pm this evening or seen it later, Gardai are also appealing for anyone with information to contact the Gardai in  Store St in the incident room on 01 6668089, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
