Fatal Road Traffic Collision Sligo 02.07.11

Gardaí at Ballymote are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10.45am this morning, Saturday 2nd July 2011, at Stonepark.

A 46 year old male motorcyclist was fatally injured when the bike he was riding was in collision with a van.

The road is closed to facilitate a forensic examination.  Disruption to traffic is minimal.
