As a part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs Gardai attached to the Cork Divisional Drug Unit carried out an operation on 22nd December 2011. Two men were arrested.
One man in his 30's was released on the 23rd December 2011 without charge, the second man in his 40's was charged and will appear before a special sitting of Cork District Ct at 7pm this evening the 24th December 2011.

As a part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs Gardai attached to the Cork Divisional Drug Unit carried out an operation on 22nd December 2011.
During the operation a house was searched in Dillons Cross area of Cork City yesterday evening where Herbal Cannabis with an estimated street value of €250,000 (subject to analysis) was seized. Two men aged in their 30s and 40s were arrested as part of the investigation.
They are currently detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, 1996, at Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations.
