Gardai in Balbriggan have recovered six stolen cars and arrested three man in a planned operation on the 22nd of October 2010.
As part of a planned operation Gardai searched a premises at Westbrook Park, Balbriggan on the afternoon of the 22nd of October 2010. During the course of the search they recovered six cars that are believed to have been stolen. The cars, which were registered in 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2004 are believed to have been stolen from counties Kildare, Dublin and Wicklow. The cars have been removed for a full technical examination.
Three men, aged 30, 20 and 46 were arrested at the scene. The men are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Balbriggan and Ballymun Garda station. The operation is ongoing.
