Gardai have named the man killed in yesterdays road traffic collision as 45 year old, Mohammed Saidu from Riverforest, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Gardaí at Leixlip Co Kildare are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Coolavacoose on the main road between Carbury and Edenderry (R402) at approximately 6.45am this morning (29/5/10)
The male driver (40 yrs)of one of the vehicles was fatally injured. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were injured (not serious) There were no other persons involved.
The R402 at Coolavacoose remains closed pending a Garda Forensic Technical Examination and diversions are in place.
