Fatal road traffic collision at Listowel, Kerry on the 19/6/10

Gardaí at Listowel are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred shortly after 8pm this evening, the 19/6/10 on the main road between Listowel and Tralee on the N69, approximately 3 miles from Listowel.

A motorcycle and a tractor were in collision. The male motorcyclist (early 20's) was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.
 
No other persons were injured.
 
The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
