Serious road traffic collision that occurred at Carrickhill Road, Portmarnock, Dublin on the 27/4/10 -Witness appeal

Gardaí at Malahide are investigating a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10.30pm last night, Tuesday, the 27th April 2010, at Carrickhill Road, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

The collision involved a blue Hyundai Accent car and a 52 year old male pedestrian.
 

The pedestrian was taken to Beaumont hospital with serious head injuries and was placed in ICU.
 

His condition is presently described as being serious but stable.
 

The 21 year old female driver of the Hyundai was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown,  with minor injuries.
