Discovery of a firearm and ammunition and arrests in Ballyfermot, Dublin on the 27/4/10

Arrest

As a part of an ongoing operation a house on Deasy’s Rd, Ballyfermot was searched this evening the 27th April 2010. Gardai from Ballyfermot Garda Station uncovered a firearm and a number of rounds of ammunition.

A male (39yrs) was arrested and is being detained under the provisions of section 30 of Offences Against the State Act as amended.
