Gardai in Cahir, Co Tipperary are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at 5.50pm, on the 1st March 2009 at Newcastle, Ardfinnan, Co. Tipperary.

A man in his early 20's was pronounced dead at the scene after the motorcycle on which he was travelling was involved in a collision with a car.

No one else was injured in the collision.
