Gardaí at Drogheda are investigating a fatal fire that occurred at a house in the Moneymore Estate in the town.
The fire was brought to the attention of Gardaí at 8am this morning by Drogheda fire service.
There were 3 fatalities in the fire ranging in age from 6yrs to 22yrs. We do not have a breakdown of sexes as of yet.
The deceased as well as all of the injured have been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
We can confirm that they are all members of the one family.
There are no further details for release at this time.
