I was very sorry to hear of the tragic death of Garda Kevin Flatley while in the course of his work. My heart out goes out to his young family and friends and indeed all of his colleagues in An Garda Síochána. I hope they feel the support of all around them in this difficult time. Thanks to all the Gardaí for the important work they do every single day on our behalf. May Garda Flatley rest in peace.
