Career Highlights:

Siobhán Toale was appointed to the Garda Executive in March 2024 as Chief Corporate Officer, reporting to the Commissioner. 

As Chief Corporate Officer Ms Toale has particular responsibility for the management and strategic development of Human Resources and People Development, Finance, Data, Technology and Occupational Health.

Ms Toale has significant leadership experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Security, Human Resources, Organisation Development and Change Management having held executive leadership roles, in the banking, telecoms, and energy sectors.

Ms Toale joins An Garda Síochána from the state owned company EirGrid, where she held responsibility for Human Resources, Information and Communications Technology, Cyber Security, Facilities and Health and Safety.

Qualifications

Ms Toale holds a BSc in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Corporate Governance Institute.  She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Development.
