Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the L4016 near Glenour, Adamstown, Co. Wexford on Friday 8th May 2026.
The single vehicle collision involved a motorcycle and occurred at approximately 9:20pm.
A male driver (aged in his 20s) was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has since been removed from the scene to the mortuary in University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The L4016 is currently closed as a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators is being conducted.
Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who were traveling on the L4016 between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on Friday 8th May 2026 are asked to make contact with investigating Gardaí. Anyone with camera footage (including mobile phone or dash-cam) is asked to make that footage available.
