Update – Fatal Incident in Artane, Dublin – Saturday 16th May 2026

Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 30s following an incident at a residential property in Dublin 5 on Saturday, 16th May 2026.

A man in his 60s who was arrested in connection with this investigation has been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The scene remains preserved and a post-mortem examination is expected to take place later today.
