Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic incident on the Dublin Road, Mountshannon, Limerick City on Tuesday 26th May 2026.
The incident involving a bicycle occurred shortly after 2:00pm.
A male cyclist (aged in his 40s) left the scene and travelled to a domestic residence.
The male cyclist received treatment by emergency services. He was pronounced deceased during the afternoon of Tuesday 26th May 2026.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Dublin Road, Mountshannon, Limerick city between 1:30pm and 2:10pm on Tuesday 26th May 2026 are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
