Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the R742, Ballinvunnia, Kilmuckridge, Co. Wexford on Tuesday 26th May 2026.
The collision involved a car and a motorcycle and occurred shortly before 3:30pm
The driver of the motorcycle, an adult male (aged in his late teens) was conveyed to Beaumont Hospital. He was pronounced deceased during the early morning of Wednesday 27th May 2026.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and an examination took place. The road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R742 Ballinvunnia, Kilmuckridge, Co. Wexford between 3:00pm and 3:30pm on Tuesday 26th May 2026 , are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
