Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the R352 near Moymore, Tulla, Co. Clare on Monday 25th May 2026.
The collision involved two cars and occurred at approximately 3:30pm.
A female passenger (aged in her 80s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased during the early morning of Tuesday 26th May 2026.
A Family Liaison Officer (FLO) has been appointed to the family of the deceased.
A female driver (aged in her 50s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.
A second female driver (aged in her 50s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators attended the scene and an examination took place. The road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R352 near Moymore, Tulla, Co. Clare between 3:00pm and 3:30pm, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
