22/05/2026 Update (3): Serious Assault in Blanchardstown, Dublin – 17th May 2026

Gardaí are continuing to investigate the serious assault which led to the death of a male in his 30s in Blanchardstown on the 17th May 2026.

 Two male juvenile teens have been charged and have appeared before the courts in connection with this assault.

Gardaí are aware video footage of this incident is circulating online.  Out of respect for the deceased and his family and as this matter is before the courts, we are asking members of the public not to share this footage on social media platforms or messaging apps.

Investigations are ongoing and Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who travelled on Mill Lane, either on foot or by car, between 4pm and 5pm on 17th May.
