On Tuesday 19th May 2026, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Tipperary Divisional Drugs Unit seized 4 kilograms of suspected cocaine in the Nenagh, Co. Tipperary area.
The seized drugs have an estimated value of €280,000.
An adult male (aged in his 20s) and an adult female (aged in her 20s) were arrested and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 in a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.
The two adults have since been charged in connection with this investigation and are due to appear before Nenagh District Court this morning, Thursday 21st May 2026 at 10:00am.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
Investigations are ongoing.
