Witness Appeal – Serious Public Order Incident, Mitchel’s Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Sunday 26th April 2026

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious public order incident that occurred on Mitchel’s Road in Tralee, Co. Kerry on Sunday 26th April 2026 at approximately 10:50 pm.

A number of individuals, both men and women, have been conveyed to hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained during the incident.

A vehicle as well as other items were seized by Gardaí. A woman in her 40s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Co. Kerry. She is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

A technical examination of the scene has been conducted and the investigation is ongoing.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident to come forward. Anyone who was in the Mitchel’s Road area of Tralee between 10:30pm and 10:50pm on Sunday 26th April 2026 is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
