Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred in Terenure, Dublin today Monday 6th April 2026. Shortly after 10am, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus at Terenure Cross, Terenure, Dublin 6W.
The pedestrian, a female (40s), was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
A technical examination of the scene is being carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and the road remains closed at this time.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 10am and 10.30am this morning Monday 6th April 2026 are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
