Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision at the junction of Main Street and Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on Wednesday 25th March 2026.
Shortly before 1:10pm Gardaí and emergency services responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
A female pedestrian (aged in her 80s) was conveyed to St. Vincent’s University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
She was pronounced deceased yesterday morning, Friday 3rd April 2026. The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were in the area of Main Street and Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on Wednesday 25th March 2026 between 12:45pm and 1:15pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
