The male in his 20s arrested in connection with this investigation has been released from the provisions of Section 30 of the offences against the State Act, 1939 and charged in connection with the case. He is scheduled to appear at this afternoon’s sitting of Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice No. 4.
Investigating Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses. Anyone who was in the Ballymun area on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, and who may have information or relevant camera footage is asked to contact the investigation team.
