Gardaí carried out a co-ordinated day of action as part of Operation Saul in the Dublin 7 area on Thursday 2nd April 2026.
This operation involved targeted patrols and engagement on public transport and was carried out in conjunction with Luas Transdev, Dublin Bus and the Taxi Regulator.
As a result of this operation 9 arrests were made for a number of drugs and theft offences. All persons arrested were males between the ages of 16 to 50.
Five of these males have been charged to appear before the courts on a later date and two have been released pending referral to the Youth Diversion Programme.
Two persons have been charged to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 2 this morning at 10.30am.
