Court Appearance - Fatal Assault, Castlecranna, Co. Tipperary, 10th March 2025

Gardaí attended the scene of an incident of fatal assault that occurred on the 10th March 2025 in the Castlecranna area, Newport, Co. Tipperary.

A male in his 30s was conveyed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He has died in hospital on the morning of 25th April 2025.

A male youth has now been arrested in connection with this investigation this morning, Wednesday 1st April 2026.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before Tipperary Town District Court sitting at Thurles this morning 1st April 2026.
