Gardaí from the Limerick Divisional Drugs unit carried out a search under warrant at a domestic residence in the St. Mary's Park area of Limerick city this Thursday 23rd April 2026 as part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs in the area.
During the course of the search, Gardaí recovered suspected cocaine to the estimated street value of €125,000 along with a small quantity of suspected cannabis and prescription tablets.
A male in his 30s was arrested and conveyed to a Garda Station in Limerick city. He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
All drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
Investigations are ongoing.
