Gardaí have arrested and charged a man following the robbery of a shop in Sandyford, Dublin 18, on Monday 30th June 2025.
Gardaí received report of the robbery, which took place at approximately 8:45pm. An armed man entered the shop and stole a sum of cash from the till before fleeing. No injuries were reported.
Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 1st July 2025, investigating Gardaí identified a male suspect and arrested him. A sum of cash and a knife was recovered.
The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in South Dublin.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Dún Laoghaire District Court this morning, Wednesday 2nd July 2025.
