Woman Arrested - GNECB Operation Skein - Co. Dublin, 7th April 2021

Gardaí attached to the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB) have arrested a woman, aged 29, in the Dublin area today, 7th April 2021.
The woman was arrested in relation to the ongoing investigation under Operation SKEIN and she is currently detained at Kevin Street Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

This is the 16th person who has been arrested as part of this investigation.

Operation SKEIN is an investigation into international BEC/Invoice re-direct fraud being committed form Ireland and the laundering of the proceeds through accounts here.
