Theft, Arrest & Court Appearance, Moore Street, Dublin 1. 25th November 2020

Gardaí in Store Street have arrested one man in relation to the investigation of a theft that occurred at a business premises on Moore Street, Dublin 1 yesterday morning 25th November, 2020.

At approximately 10.25a.m. one man entered a shop on Moore Street, and left the shop with a number of items which he did not pay for. He was stopped by security whom he threatened and assaulted. No one was injured during the robbery.

The man was arrested by Gardaí and taken to Store Street Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been charged in relation to the offence and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, court number 1 this morning, Thursday 26th November, 2020 at 10.30a.m.
