Man Charged - Armed Robbery, Inchicore, Dublin 8, 30th October 2020

Gardaí investigating an armed robbery at a service station in the Tyrconnell Road area of Inchicore that occurred on 30/10/2020 have arrested and charged a man, aged in his 20s.

At approximately 9am on 30/10/2020, a man armed with firearm, entered the service station and demanded cash. The man left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Following an investigation, Gardaí from Kilmainham today 09/11/2020 arrested the man. He was detained at Kilmainham Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939. A firearm (believed to be imitation) has been seized and sent for analysis.

The man has now been charged in relation to this investigation and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 4, on 10/11/2020 at 10:30am.
